Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 70, 1970) is an American former tight end in the NFL. Gonzalez played for the National Football League from 1997 through 2003. He is considered to be one of the top tight ends of all time. In addition to being the NFL's leader for receiving yards, as well as the third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez was one of the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.

Gonzalez has resigned from the Falcons on March 15, 2013, for a deal of $14 million for two years, in spite of his claims that he was going to retire at the end of the season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season marked his final as NFL the leading reciever in the NFL.
